Data-Driven Instruction
"Working hard is important. But there is something that matters more:
believing in yourself."

My classroom is driven by a variety of data that I gather on a daily, weekly and quarterly basis. The data-driven instruction in my classroom is centered around the concept of growth mindset. I am open and honest about collecting data from students, and I tell them how I use it in order to empower them to be advocates for their own learning. Often times, I provide students with opportunities to provide me with feedback on what they feel they need help with. This gives students ownership and shifts their view of learning from a grade-focus to a skill building focus.
